Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is soon going to announce the much awaited Delhi – Agartala Rajdhani Express. The same was shared by trusted sources placed within the NFR headquarters. The passengers have long been waiting for the train to commence, however, the announcement kept on getting postponed.
According to the sources, a new train with 19 coaches, 2 power vans and 2 pantry cars has reached Agartala on Saturday. However, there is no official confirmation on the date on which the train will be officially inaugurated. Also, NFR has not shared the name of any dignitary who will be invited to inaugurate the new Rajdhani Express route.
Rajdhani Trains connect the respective state capitals to the national capital and are considered to be one of the premium trains. Most of the routes see the trains commencing daily from both the ends and it is preferred by a number of people. The government has also been promoting the Rajdhani Express and it had recently announced a cheaper version of Rajdhani express to commence between Delhi and Mumbai.
