YSR Congress Party Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-in-waiting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Ram Madhav in the national capital days after people of Andhra gave a huge mandate to YSRCP.

Sources claimed that AP-CM-in-waiting discussed to give issue base support to Narendra Modi-led government at Centre.

He gifted Ram Madhav as a statue of Tirupati Balaji and a shawl.

It should be noted that YSR Congress President earlier said that he will support whosoever will offer Special Status tag to Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier in the day, Jagan Mohan Reddy meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah in the national capital.

Speaking to media on Sunday, Reddy said, ‘If the BJP would’ve been limited to 250 seats, we wouldn’t have had to depend so much on the central govt. But now, they don’t need us. We did what we could do and told him (PM) of our situation’.

Jagan Mohan Reddy had on Saturday walk in to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan and stake claim to form government in the State.

He had also met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and discussed to work together for the development of the Telugu States.

YSR Congress President Jagan Mohan Reddy is slated to take oath as the next Chief Minister of the state on May 30. He has reportedly invited Telangana Chief Minister and PM Narendra Modi for his oath-taking ceremony slated to be held in Vijayawada on May 30.

Andhra Pradesh State Polls and national elections in the state held simultaneously on April 11.

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP in recently held polls registered a landslide victory in both assembly and national polls in the state. YRSCP won 151 assembly seats out of the 175 assembly seat in the state and unseat Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP Government. The 14th Andhra Pradesh Assembly was dissolved on Saturday after State Governor ESL Nirsimhanan issued a notification in this regard.

While in national polls, YSRCP bag 22 Lok Sabha Seats out of 25 seats in the state.

The Bharatiya Janata Party in the recently concluded national polls has secured 303 seats, 22 more than it got in 2014. While BJP along with its allies, the NDA secured 352 seats.
