Cricketer-turned-Politician and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominee from Delhi East Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday released his 24-points vision document for the parliamentary Seat of the national capital. The newly entrant in the politics also promised a multi-speciality Central Government Hospital, CCTV Cameras and a Delhi University Campus among others.
In his 24 points constituency centred manifesto, He also promised to upgrade ‘Yamuna Sports Complex’. BJP Candidate also promised to launch a smartphone app ‘Gautam Gambhir App’ to directly address grievances.
Gambhir in its 24 point vision also promised multi-level parking in the constituency where parking is one of the biggest problems. He also promised the supply of piped water for every household by the year 2022 including unauthorised colonies and resettlement colonies of the Delhi East Constituency.
Focusing on the youths of the Lok Sabha Constituency, Cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir also promised many programmes like – Start-Up ecosystem, Youth Development Academy, East Delhi Talent Search Programme and Skilling East Delhi.
Gambhir if voted from the Delhi East Lok Sabha Seat also promised ‘Green East Delhi’ programme to tackle pollution problem. Gambhir said he will work over the issue of waterlogging and vertical garden to combat pollution.
Gautam Gambhir in a run-up to the national elections is pitched against Aam Aadmi Party Candidate Atishi. While Congress has named Arvinder Singh Lovely for the mega polls 2019 from Delhi East Lok Sabha Seat.
BJP East Delhi Sitting MP Mahesh Giri has been replaced with Gambhir for the mega polls 2019.
General Elections 2019 has already begun and is being held in seven phases starting from April 11 to May 19. All Seven Parliamentary Seats of the national capital will vote on May 12, the sixth phase of polling.
