CM Mamata to give Rs. 5 L ex-gratia to kin of those who lost lives in Mangaluru protests

Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, who is holding state-wide protest march against the newly amended Citizenship law, has announced that she will provide ex-gratia of Rs. 5 Lakh to the family of those who lost their lives in protests against Citizenship Act in Mangaluru.

Mamata Banerjee has taken out a protest march from Rajabazar to Mallick Baazar in Kolkata against the CAA and NRC.

Few days ago, the Chief Minister was seen holding protest march from Jadavpur to Jadu Babu’s Bazar, against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act. Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha MPs Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan also joined the TMC supremo in the protest.

Banerjee said that they will continue their protest against CAA and National Register of Citizens (NRC) until they are withdrawn by the Central government.
