In an exclusive interview with ABP News, son of Maneka Gandhi, Varun Gandhi says he will not join the Congress party no matter what the scenario might be.

Varun Gandhi, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party said that he would not join Congress and would stay with the BJP until he quits politics. Varun Gandhi was contesting from Sultanpur which he had quit after 10 years because of the guidelines of the party. He hopes to beat the opponent of the Mahagathbandhan in the upcoming elections.

As Varun Gandhi has not given any interviews to news channels in the past 7 years, he clarifies that he was waiting to break his silence when he had something important to say and feels that now the time has finally arrived.

He says he has always been inspired by PM Narendra Modi and his personality and that he would never join the Congress party and would quit politics the day he quits BJP. He goes on to state that it was the Bharatiya Janata Party that gave him an opportunity to join politics and hence he was a member of the party from the beginning.

Talking about the ‘Modi style of politics’ he says Modi is like a father to party who guides the party as well as its ‘karyakarta’.

Varun Gandhi has always contested from the Sultanpur seat, which now was switched to the Pilibhit one of his mother. His mother Maneka, exchanged the Pilibhit seat with her son because of which speculations are going around as to whether the Congress’s family members will lock horns with each other as there has not been any campaign from both the political parties on the Sultanpur seat. But now since the scenario has changed there are chances that his mother would definitely campaign from where she is contesting.
