PM Modi addressing the rally in Bhopal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi likely to address at least 10 rallies in poll-bound state of Rajasthan. PM Modi who will be in the state from November 25 will address multiple rallies starting from Alwar, where BJP lost in the by-polls held early this year in February.

During his visit ahead of the Polls, PM Narendra Modi will hold rallies in Bhilwara, Beneshwar Dham, Kota. PM Modi expected to hold rallies in Nagau and Bharatpur November 28, a rally on Jodhpur ON December 3.  While three public meetings are also likely to organized in Hanumangarh, Sikar, and Jaipur on December 4.

PM Narendra Modi is starting its Campaign trail from Alwar, as it has become an important district for the party as the party has lost all eight assembly segments of the parliamentary seat during the by-polls. In 2014, BJP has seven of them. That is the reason that BJP is in no mood to take any chance in that district that sends eight lawmakers.  BJP by taking a cue from the results of by-polls has dropped 6 legislators from the list. However, sons of two dropped MLAs have been tickets.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014 General Elections won all 25 parliamentary seats but lost two – Alwar and Ajmer – in the by-elections held in February following the death of incumbent MPs.

One of the dropped MLA from Alwar District Gyandev Ahuja who filed his nominations as an independent Candidate later withdrew after his meeting with Amit Shah on Thursday. Later, Party has made him the Rajasthan State Vice President.

On the other party, BJP District Unit is making every efforts to make PM Modi’s rally a grand event. The Unit is targeting a crowd of 100,000 for the PM’s public meeting.

The State will vote on December 7 to elect a new assembly, while the counting will take place on December 11 with other state assembly elections.
