Telugu Desam Party Chief chief and Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said he is not in the race for becoming the Prime Minister and the leader of the anti-BJP front (Grand Alliance) will be decided after a consensus. “We will bring consensus on that. Addressing to the public he said: “Who is Narendra Modi? Till 2014 he was just a chief minister. He was able to lead BJP to win. Now there are efficient people and able administrators. They will lead”

“I am not expecting any position or any incentive out of this initiative,” said Naidu, adding that the People’s Front, ‘Mahakutami’ is going to win in Telangana State Elections. TDP is contesting the Telangana Assembly Elections as an alliance partner with Indian National Congress, Telangana Jana Samithi and Communist Party of India.

Chandrababu Naidu has recently shared a Political Stage with Congress President Rahul Gandhi in a run-up to the State Elections.

N Chandrababu Naidu is the one who has out efforts to cement an anti-BJP Front along with Regional Leaders Like Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin, Sharad Pawar.

He accused the ruling TRS of playing double-game along with the Bhartiya Janta Party.

Justifying his move to form an alliance with the Congress, Naidu said Congress and TDP do not have any ideological differences. But TDP doesn’t agree with BJP’s ideology. It is a democratic compulsion to join hands with the Congress and save democracy and institutes in the country, he added.

“From the beginning, TDP has been fighting against the Congress but now there is a need to fight against the BJP,” he said.

The Elections in the Telangana is slated for December 7, while counting of votes will take place on December 11 with four other state elections.
