WhatsApp can be considered as one of the most popular apps in the world currently and while it offers a host of features, WhatsApp Status is one of the most used options that the platform offers. An update for Whatsapp Beta for Android 2.19.116 has just been released and it has added, as well as removed some new changes.
WhatsApp for Android beta is currently working on a new Emoji category feature in the Doodle Picker, which will separate emojis from stickers. The feature was spotted in Android beta version 2.19.106 beta update, but is under development and not enabled as of now.
The doodle picker was revamped as a part of the update to beta version 2.19.106, now features two separate tabs; one for stickers and other for emojis. The sticker section has also received different categories to ease off the search but emojis were still vanilla without any enhancements. Later, the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.19.106 underwent the teardown where the emojis were spotted with a makeover.
This means that the Doodle Picker option will very soon become more organized and expansive since there will be separate sections for stickers and emojis, WABetaInfo also reports that the feature is not yet available for even beta users. Since the update doesn’t sound too big for the platform, it might be made available to WhatsApp beta testers for Android soon.
WABetaInfo also reported that WhatsApp is presently testing another new option through which users won’t be able to take screenshots of their chats. If a user enables this new feature, he or she won’t be able to take screenshots of a chat inside the app. This new WhatsApp feature has been spotted in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.19.106 update. However, it should be noted that despite the option being enabled on your device, other users will still be able to take screenshots of chats which include you. WABetaInfo added that the option might not be made available for users of the stable version of the WhatsApp app.
