India, after losing the first two games, equalizes the series by winning the next two games.

Now the series winner will be decided upon the fifth T-20I that will be played today.

The players are getting back in form, as they performed outstandingly in the fourth match.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the new debutant, got his first Player of the Match award as well.

Match Details

The fourth T-20I was played on August 12th at the Lauderhill stadium.

The pitch was great to bat on, as this was also a high-scoring ground.

West Indies won the toss, elected to bat first, and put up a big total.

West Indies Innings

Kyle Mayers and Brandon King opened the innings for the West Indies.

Arshdeep Singh didn’t let them settle down for long, as he took the wicket of Kyle.

In his next over, Arshdeep took the wicket of Brandon as well.

Both openers lost their wickets, as in the next over, Kuldeep Yadav gave them two breakthroughs.

The West Indies team was in great trouble after the quick breakthroughs.

Irrespective of the breakthroughs, they still had run off the board.

Shai Hope from one end was performing well as Shimron Hetmyer from the other end started to play big shots.

Hetmyer was hitting the ball all over the ground, adding some valuable runs to the total.

Chahal came into the bowl as he took the wicket of Shai.

With the knock of 61 runs by Hetmyer, they reached a total of 178/8.

India Innings

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill opened the innings for India.

They both weren’t able to give a great start to the team in the previous matches.

They started to get along well and were mostly dealing with boundaries.

As the match went on, they also completed their half-centuries as well.

The opening pair itself took the match towards victory for the Indian team.

The West Indies tried changing the bowlers but weren’t able to take wickets.

Romario Shepherd took the wicket of Shubman, but the match had already gone away from them.

In the end, India won the match by nine wickets and equalized the series.
