Hyderabad-based online bus ticketing startup AbhiBus has rolled out its Rent-a-Bus service, which is a DIY tool, enabling customers to hire buses with capacities ranging from 14-52, as reported by The Hindu.

The startup claims to have already partnered with 500 bus operators with access to a fleet of over 10,000 buses for the service.

Talking about the service, Sudhakar Reddy, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AbhiBus, said, “We are going to add the inventory of more than 1,500 operators in the next six months. Customers from India or aboard can book this service for pan India destinations and select the relevant bus.”

Founded by Sudhakar Reddy in 2008, AbhiBus offers a range of end-to-end solutions to the customers including online ticket booking, fleet management solutions, hotel booking and rental options. With over 2,500 operators and more than 100,000 route options, it offers ticket booking options through its online platform and its app.

In the online ticketing space, the startup competes with the likes of Paytm and redBus, among others.

Earlier this year, it was reported that AbhiBus crossed ₹700 crores in annual GMV for the fiscal year 2019. Furthermore, it was also reported that its competitor redBus forayed into the foreign markets of Vietnam, Thailand and Turkey.
