The new integration of Google Pay in the Uber App has made the payment method more flexible

Google has recently tied up Uber and brought in Google Pay as one of the payment methods to seamlessly continue the journey. As an introductory offer, users can also avail up to ₹1,000 cashback when they would use Google Pay for 10 Uber rides.

The new move has expanded Google Pay, the mobile payments platform that got an overhaul from Google Tez to Google Pay last month. This also makes the competition tougher for rival Paytm, which Uber had tied up with to provide users a payment option for Uber rides in the country.
