Lava, the pioneer in the Indian smartphone market launches yet another future ready 4G smartphone in India. The Lava A44 is the latest addition to their portfolio with mesmerising features, priced at just INR 5,399.

Lava A44 is going to be offline exclusive and is readily available to purchase from the store near you. The device offers handy form factor with user replaceable back cover in different shades including Black and Gold. Though, the specifications doesn’t amaze us, at this price tag the device delivers what it promises to be.

One the first sight, one can spot the 4 inch WVGA IPS lcd screen, equipped with quad core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard storage. As a matter of fact, the device does offer native SD card support upto 32 GB with separate dual SIM slots.

Even the cameras on this device are of mediocre, the device offers 5 MP fixed focus main camera with LED flash assistance with 720p video recording capability and a 2 MP front facing selfie camera(with LED flash). The 1500 mAh battery offers modularity, the Lava A44 also offers micro USB port with USB OTG support. In terms of operating system, the device offers latest iteration of Android (Android Nougat) with third party user interface.

Like any modern device, the device offers Wifi connectivity (only 2.5 Ghz), 3.5 mm headphone jack and FM  Radio as well. However, the device is missing on few of the basic sensors. As the market is flooded by plentiful of budget smartphone, Lava could have improved built quality as well as features the device offering.
