Micromax has launched a new budget-oriented dual camera smartphone called, the Micromax Evok dual note in India. The device offers all metal unibody, featuring dual rear camera setup at the back.

In terms of build-quality, the device looks much superior to that of the competition. All metal unibody is always a welcome gesture for any smartphones. The device offers standard 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass.

Under the hood, MediaTek MT6750 paired with either 3 GB or 4 GB RAM powered by latest version of Android (7.0 Nougat) is expected to offer phenomenal performance. Both iterations just get 32 GB onboard storage along with micro-SD card slot up to 64 GB support.

The company does manage to place a rear facing finger print sensor as well. More on to the camera, (13 MP + 5 MP) combination is something similar that we have seen in recent days (Lenovo K8 note), this combination can produce bokeh effect like high-end flagship cameras. The 5 MP front-facing camera does feature its own selfie flash as well.

The Micromax Evok dual note features dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capabilities. The 3000 mAh Li-ion battery can be charged via USB type C (with OTG support as well). The 3 GB model comes in gold colour whereas the 4 GB version is only offered in Prussian Blue.

The device will available exclusively via Flipkart from 22nd August priced at INR 9,999 for 3 GB and no price details for the 4 GB variant. As an introductory offer, Jio is bundling 84 GB 4G data plus free calling for just INR 443 for three months.
