Samsung, the house hold brand for the flash storage and memory modules launches a new series of Samsung SSD in India. The new series now comes with 250 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB storage options.

These are the high-efficient and next generation storage devices with 64-layer V-NAND technology. The device can transfer the data with a max speed of 540 MB per second.

All four models come with the same form-factor 74×57.3×10.5mm and weigh just 51 grams. These devices can withstand the normal day-to-day impacts and offers 256-bit AES encryption. In terms of port, these SSD’s offer USB type C port. The retail package comes with two data cables, one with type C to type C and one with the full-sized USB type A to USB type C. So, there is no need to spend extra rupees if you plan to use this SSD with the latest MacBook Pro or MacBook.

On to the pricing, the 256 GB model is priced INR 13,500, 512 GB model is priced at INR 21,000, 1 TB model is priced at INR 40,000 and the 2 TB variant costs whooping  INR 80,000. Don’t get shocked by these price tags, as these are not for general users. These are for those art directors and YouTubers who want a higher reading and writing speed with the compact form factor.
