During the Brussels summit, European Union leaders on Sunday, formally agreed to a “Brexit deal” and urged formally to Britons to back Prime Minister Theresa May, who is facing furious opposition.

It didn’t took more than half an hour to rubber-stamp a 600 pages treaty, which includes Britain’s withdrawal setting terms from the European Union and also 26 pages which cites the future free trading relationship.

European Union chief executive Jean-Claude Juncker said, “This is the deal,” and said that he is confident that May would see the deal through the parliament with ruling out new concessions.

Michel Barnier, who has grounded out the withdrawal treaty since the last 18 months, said, “Now it is time for everybody to take responsibility – everybody.”

Calling Brexit a “tragedy”, Juncker termed it “a sad day” and said it was “tough” on both sides.

Juncker said, “I believe that the British government will succeed in securing the backing of the British parliament.” He further said, “I would vote in favour of this deal because this is the best deal possible for Britain.”

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite said the last process was “far from over,” via twitter.

Calling it a great deal for the future ties, Barnier insisted, “We will remain allies, partners and friends.”

French President Emmanuel Macron cited that Brexit needs improvement. Macron stressed over repaying Paris, stating that in return for giving us easy trade access, Paris would want to have tight EU regulations.
