There’s always a scope for improvement when it comes to the automotive industry. Hyundai is doing well in India and the major reason behind it is that they listen to their customers. A perfect example of this strategy is the introduction of the all-new Hyundai Alcazar Platinum Diesel AT with a 7-seater layout.

Earlier, this same variant was retailed with a 6-seater variant. However, affordable by Rs.15,000, the 7-seater variant is currently priced at Rs.19.64 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Planning to buy a family SUV? Well, this one might be the right variant one should opt for.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Hyundai Alcazar Platinum Diesel AT now gets a 7-seater layout.
  • To be powered by the potent 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine.
  • Gets features similar to the Platinum Diesel with a manual gearbox.

What’s new?

Earlier, the Platinum Diesel AT variant was only available with a 6-seater layout. The introduction of a 7-seater version will make it even practical for people who want to opt for the new Alcazar as a family SUV. When compared to the same variant with a manual transmission, this one is Rs.15,000 cheaper and more practical any day.

There is no Platnium (O) petrol AT variant for now. However, we expect the Korean brand to introduce something similar at a later stage.

Features

Hyundai really offers class-leading features on the Alcazar. However, the new Platinum (O) Diesel AT variant of the same comes loaded with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, large panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available as standard.
