As a result, the all-new Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Hybrid is finally here just to cater to all your needs of a fuel-efficient scooter with enhanced overall power onboard. Features

Apart from an electric motor, the all-new Yamaha Ray ZR 125 packs an LED headlight, fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity and side stand engine cut-off depending upon the variant. There’s even a massive tunnel under the seat with a space rated at 21-litres.

Colour Shades

There are several shades on offer but that totally depends upon the variant the buyer will opt for. To begin with, the Hybrid variant is available with Cyan Blue and Metallic Black. Meanwhile, it is the disc variant of the same that comes finished in Racing Blue, Cyan Blue, Matte Red, Reddish Yellow Cocktail and Metallic Black. Surprisingly, this version is also available in the Moto GP livery as well.

The buyers who will go for the Ray ZR Rally 125 will get two shades including Matt Copper and Sparkle Green. For added customisation, it also gets block pattern tyres, brush guard and coloured stripes on both wheels.

Engine & Powertrain

Powered by a potent 125cc air-cooled engine the all-new Yamaha Ray ZR 125 produces a massive 8.2PS @ 6,500 RPM and 10.3Nm of peak torque @ 5,000 RPM with a CVT gearbox onboard. The Hybrid variant of the same gets an additional Smart Motor Generator (SMG) to provide an electric boost to this new scooter for around 3 seconds while making it slightly fuel-efficient.

TVS claims that the all-new NTorq 125 Race XP is the most powerful scooter in its segment. Well, that’s true because of the overall output that is rated at 10PS and 10.8Nm. The top speed of the same is 98kmph while being on the Race mode. However, to conserve fuel, riders can anytime switch to ‘Street’ mode.

In terms of features, it comes loaded with an LED headlight, new graphics, tri-tone exterior shades and smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. This can be used to browse through 60 other features including navigation, voice commands and brightness adjustment to name a few.
