Sources say that the new generation Jeep Wrangler three-door version has been spied testing in India. There is a possibility that the three-door and five sir versions of the Wrangler will be released in India towards the end of 2018. As the car was spotted on cam seems more like the Sahara trim of the Jeep Wrangler. Visually, not many changes could be spotted when compared to the current model that is in the market. Which means that the SUV gets the same seven-slat grille up front. But it was observed that the bumpers of the car are redesigned and the LED headlights have better illumination. The Jeep will most likely get power from two engine options. One being 2.0-litre diesel engine and also a 3.6-litre petrol engine. A 3.0 diesel engine may also be offered. Reports suggest that the Jeep will soon include the mild hybrid technology to only see if it can manage to make its way in India. The great box will be an eight-speed automatic unit.
The car also gets the most important off-road hardware such as locking differential, transfer case, liter range gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The cabin details, on the other hand, are not very clear but it is expected that the new model comes with bits like climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, digital instructions and a lot more new features.
When there is a question about safety the driver’s assist safety features are located on the active safety group on the 2018 model, and included blend spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, LED taillights and rear parking sensors. A rearview camera is standard. Hence it is expected that the 2019 version will carry all this and more. On a whole, the Jeep Wrangler is car most of us will really look forward.
The new Wrangler will be priced slightly on the higher side when composited to the current model in the market.
