One Electric has recently introduced the Kridn electric motorcycle in India. The all-new One Electric Kridn bike will come with a price tag of ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the company has already started the bookings for Kridn in four major cities – Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR and Hyderabad.
The One Electric Kridn draws its power from a 5.5 kWh electric motor producing a massive 165Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the battery that powers the electric motor is a 3 kWh lithium unit. The Kridn provides a range of 110 km to its customers on the eco mode while it can return a range of 80 km in the normal mode. However, the top speed of the One Electric Kridn is somewhere near 95 kmph and it can do a 0-60kmph in just 8 seconds.
The brake on the Kridn electric motorcycle is a 240mm disc at the front and a 220mm at the rear. Likewise, the motorcycle gets a telescopic hydraulic suspension at the front and the hydraulic suspension at the rear. The GPS and App connectivity feature on the Kridn is optional. Meanwhile, the bike gets a halogen bulb headlamp of 12V-35W with the LED DRLs. The taillamp on the Kridn is a multi-reflector unit.
One Electric is also working on the Kridn R which will be there soon for the taxi purpose. The upcoming Kridn R will be inspired by the Kridn only. Meanwhile, the company will start delivering the One Electric Kridn by October. However, the entry-level electric motorcycle by One Electric is yet to arrive. The entry-level model might come with a top speed of 75 kmph and the company is expected to price it somewhere around ₹1 lakh.
