The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has decided to reconduct the Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) on May 10 due to the technical issues faced by the candidates during the main examination on May 8 conducted via remote-proctored mode.

Due to the ongoing pandemic situations, the entrance exam was conducted online and the students were allowed to take exam from their homes using a laptop or personal computer with webcam and internet connection. while, several candidates faced issues of availability of computers or lacked a stable internet connection during the course of examination and thus an additional chance is being provided by the institute to provide a fair opportunity to each aspirant.

A official notice has been issued by ICSI which mentioned that the institute itself has observed few technical issues which does not allowed some candidates to successfully appear in the main CSEET examination. The provision to reconduct the test is to ensure that maximum number of applicants can appear ion the exam.

Although it has been also informed in the notice that the candidate who does not appears in the re-test on May 10 will be marked absent for the CSEET and no further chance will be provided to them.

According to the exam protocol, Each candidate will be provided with the batch timing, Login ID and password for the entrance test. It is compulsory for each candidate to download the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in advance on their devices as candidates will be allowed to join the exam through this browser only.

The admit cards has been already issued by ICSI on the official website icsi.edu. It is mandatory for all the students to carry a printed copy of this admit card to the centers with a valid photo identity proof.
