The Applications for Maharashtra Common Entrance Exam 2019, for admission to MBA Colleges, will be closing tomorrow February 15. DTE, conducting the examination, has already released the dates and required notifications at their official website. The registration process for the MBA exam commenced on February 10, 2019.

The Important Dates for the MAHCET 2019 are:

MAHCET Online registration begins 10 January 2019
MAHCET Online registration ends 15 February 2019
MAHCET Admit Card Issue 1 March 2019
MAH MBA/MMS CET Exam Date 10 March 2019
MAH-CET Result 31 March 2019

 

The Admit cards will be available from 1st March 2019. The Exam is scheduled to be conducted for two days 10 January to 15 February.

Steps for applying to the MAHCET 2019 are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website http://cetcell.mahacet.org

Step 2: Click for Apply and then, when the next window appears, Click on the link that says ‘New registration’.

Step 3: Fill the application form using all credential details. Pay the required fees of Rs 1000 for General and for Reserved Rs 800.

Step 4: Submit, and a confirmation page will appear at your dashboard, download it and keep it safe.

For being eligible to appear for the examination the candidate must be:

  • Nationality: Citizen of India
  • Academic: Graduate with 3 year Bachelor’s degree with above 50% marks

Final year candidates can also apply for MAHCET exam.

The syllabus for the Exam is as follows:

  • Logical & Abstract Reasoning: This section would include questions on figures, diagrams, and Verbal Reasoning. The section is aimed at testing the thinking prowess of the candidates.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Quant is all about testing the calculation ability of the candidates through a variety of numerical problems. Questions based upon arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage etc. Candidates may also find questions on topics related to quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts.
  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension:  Candidates would encounter questions on topics such as Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. Candidates would have to be well-versed in understanding the contents of the passages and the appropriate words, phrases, expressions to ace this section.

As per the official notification for MAHCET 2018, the DTE Maharashtra would announce the MAHCET 2018 results on 19th March 2018
