Odisha JEE (Joint Entrance Examination conducted) today on 18th May, 2019. The first shift of the exam was conducted between 9:am-12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm.

The exam was held at 53 centres including, 13 centres in Bhubaneswar, across the state. As many as 29900 candidates appeared for the examination.

About the exam

The examination is conducted to provide admission into first year degree courses in Pharmacy, Integrated MBA (5 years, lateral admission to 2nd year (3rd semester) Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/MCA and first year’s masters degree courses in Computer Application (MCA), Business Administration (MBA), M.Tech, M.Pharma, M.arch, M.Plan and M.Arch (executive).

The exam was conducted in pen and paper mode. It was postponed from May 13 to May 18 in the wake of Cyclone Fani on April 26th, which left the aftermath destruction. Though the admit card was released on April 26 on its official website.
