Anushka Sharma, one of India’s most popular film artists, celebrated her 30th birthday on 1st May, 2018. Early in the morning, Virat Kohli, husband of actress Anushka posted an update on Twitter wishing his wife a very happy birthday. He uploaded a picture of himself feeding his beloved wife a piece of her birthday cake with his own hands. The happy couple received many birthday wishes, positive comments, as well as likes on the social media platform.
Within the next few hours, Anushka Sharma updated her personal twitter with a message she had written to her followers. In her letter, she announced that in the occasion of her 30th birthday, Anushka will be building an animal centre on the outskirts of Mumbai. She intends to do this to take care of all the homeless and stranded animals roaming the busy streets of the metropolitan city and provide a home for those creatures who are not loved, cherished, or cared for.
This is an important decision by Anushka and she explains it to be inspired by the words of Buddhist Monk, Dalai Lama. In one of his speeches, Dalai Lama spoke about the life of creatures other than humans. Within that, he explained his views on life and how all living beings, appearance and reputation alike, should be treated with love and care; because everything with life in it feels pain. Anushka was deeply inspired by the Holy Monk’s words as she decided that this year, on her birthday, she would give every living creature a little more love and treat them all with equal care and affection.
