The recent episode of Bigg Boss 13 begins with Shefali Jariwala and Asim’s fight. Asim calls Shefali a rat, and that she’s not a true friend. The task begins again, and Mahira snatches the letter from the pile. Its from Asim’s family. Mahira goes to the podium, and reveals that even though she wants to become the captain, she gives more importance to emotions. She gives Asim the letter. Asim reads it and gets emotional. Next, Asim is able to possess the letter. It’s from Mahira’s mother. But, selfishly, he shreds her letter because he wants to become a contender. Mahira is devastated. Arti becomes angry that Asim betrayed Mahira even though she sacrificed her own chance at captaincy for him. In the secret room, Siddharth and Paras scream obscenities at Asim. Mahira begins to cry and tries to read the letter by collecting the shreds.
The contenders for captaincy are as follows: Vikas, Rashami, Shefali, and Asim.
Asim tries to explain to Mahira that he wants to become the captain of the house and didn’t care for her emotions. Mahira pushes him and walks away. Shefali then reminds Asim how he attacked her for doing the same thing with Hindustani Bhau. He apologizes to her.
The next day, Siddharth and Paras are given the power to make the housemates their puppets. Bigg Boss announces the task, titled, Katputli. Siddharth and Paras make Rashami apologize to Mahira and give compliments to Shehnaz. Madhurima and Asim have a fight but it gets resolved quickly. Mahira and Shehnaz are very upset that nobody cared about them, but everyone is approaching them and giving compliments only because of the task. Shehnaz begins to cry. Hindustani Bhau comforts her. Just then, Bigg Boss announces that the duration of the task has ended for the day.
