In a bid to help them, he has collected bank details of all the migrants who passed away and belonged to the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.

All of this, is being done under his initiative, #GharBhejo. This initiative was started with hia friend, Neeti Goel. Sonu, talked about his latest gesture for the migrants with Times Of India and said :

“I’ve decided to help families of the deceased or injured migrants for them to have a secure future. I feel it’s my personal responsibility to support them.”
