Manoj Bajpayee had recently impressed all of us with his stellar performance in web series The Family Man. Playing the character of a middle-class man secretly working for intelligence, Manoj did justice to his character in every dimension. The show was a major success among the audience and people are expecting a second season for it. There were numerous rumors about the sequel to it and now main man Manoj himself has broken his silence on it.
Talking to The Quint, Manoj said that even he is hearing from the producers that there will be a sequel. He said, “I know it’s in the news that we are doing it and all I know that the next season is going to be bigger and better.”
Talking about the shooting in Kashmir, Manoj said “Not only Kashmir is very beautiful, people there are fantastic. They had arranged some young boys for us who made sure that we didn’t miss out on anything on the set”.
Manoj also shared his views on recently case of sedition slapped by police on some artists, who had written a letter to PM. Manoj said, “I can personally say that nobody in this industry is anti-national. They might be having a different point of view but all of them love this country. Many of them can’t even think of living any where else than this country”.
Talking about why Bollywood stars shy away from talking about political issues, Manoj said that they have done it since ages. In his words, “I am known for speaking my mind but now I keep it to myself most of the times. Social media has given people so much liberty that anyone can create a handle and say nasty things about you”.
Manoj is currently working in a America film, titled Dhaka. It is directed by Sam Hargrave and stars Chris Hemsworth, David Harbour, Manoj Bajpai, Pankaj Tripathi, Golshifteh Farahani and Randeep Hooda.
