You might have seen the video of a toddler trying to wake up his dead mother at a railway station. The video which brought to light the distress of migrants in the country also caught the attention of Shahrukh Khan’s Meer Foundation. The video was of Muzaffarpur Railway station in Bihar.

Meer Foundation which is supporting the toddler currently shared a photo of the toddler on Twitter. In the tweet, they thanked people for making them aware about the boy.

Actor, Shahrukh Khan who runs the foundation took to twitter and shared his support towards the boy. Khan tweeted

Shahrukh who lost his parents at a young age said he knows the feeling of losing a parent. The actor has been proactive in his efforts to help various migrant workers suffering because of the coronavirus and has helped the Maharashtra Government in doing the same.

He has earlier donated large amount of money to various relief funds and with his IPL Franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the actor donated 50,000 PPE kits to healthcare providers in West Bengal and Maharashtra.

Recently, Shahrukh also pledged to help those in West Bengal who suffered due to the Amphan Cyclone. Through KKR, he also took the initiative to plant trees and plants in areas where they were destroyed by the cyclone. In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic the actor had also released a video on Instagram, singing a song of hope to spread positivity amongst the people.

Earlier he had also released a statement signifying the importance of being there for each other in these distressing times. Khan has been providing massive help to people through his Meer Foundation which is known for helping acid attack survivors.
