The trailer of the most awaited film Sadak 2 is out now. The film starring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Pooja Bhatt is the sequel to the 1991 film Sadak and as we see in the trailer the character of Ravi is revived by Dutt and hence the story is in continuation with new and interesting story arcs. The trailer begins with Ravi’s character as he has lost all the will to live his life as he feels his life is aimless after the death of his beloved (Pooja Bhatt).
Arya (Alia Bhatt) brings out new hope and an aim to Ravi’s life as she’s out on a mission against the fake gurus due to which she crosses path with a criminally insane man played by Makrand Deshpande who is out to kill her. Aditya plays Arya’s love interest in the story as Vishal and the trio are out on a road trip that follows a lot of unwanted events leading their lives into a highway of troubles filled with potholes of their lives.
The character of Guru is quite similar when it comes to the original villain of the film Maharani played by the late actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar. The trailer also featured a glimpse of various other actors including Gulshan Grover, Jisshu Sengupta, and Priyanka Bose among them. The film seems to be a journey filled with a lot of thrills and twists. Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, the film will be streaming on August 28 on Disney+ Hotstar.
