Shah Rukh Khan, in a recent comment, spoke about the need to build more theaters in places where there weren’t any. He also emphasized on the new trend of online streaming portals that provide quality content in a very cheap amount.
Shah Rukh has been extremely sensitive when it comes to voicing his opinions regarding the industry. His immense interest and dedication towards Bollywood, films and theater has been noticed and well appreciated.
He said that movies like Baahubali and Dangal, that have been globally successful managed to get only 3 crore people in movie theatres. He said that focus should also be made on the remaining 122-125 crore audience that is deprived of watching Indian cinema.
Shah Rukh Khan added that “online video-streaming portals are taking over the Indian digital market space by storm” and hence, Bollywood should either adapt to the changing terms or be where they are at the present moment.Shah Rukh is currently gearing up for his upcoming flick Zero, that is science fiction and co-stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
