iQoo has launched iQoo Neo 5 Lite in China. The smartphone is an offshoot of iQoo Neo 5 that was launched earlier. The latest offering from iQoo is powered by Snapdragon 870G processor and features a 144Hz fast refresh rate display. A triple-camera setup is offered at the rear.
iQoo Neo 5 Lite Specifications
iQoo Neo 5 Lite is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870G 5G SoC, coupled with Qualcomm Adreno 650 GPU. The CPU is backed by up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with iQoo’s custom OriginOS 1.0 on top.
Coming to the display, the smartphone features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels and a 144Hz super-fast refresh rate. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9, a contrast ratio of 1,500:1, and HDR10+ support. The display has very thin bezels on the edges with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.4-percent. It carries a punch-hole at the top right corner for the front camera.
As for the optics, the phone comes with a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary Sony IMX582 sensor with an f/1.79 lens and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), an 8MP sensor with 120-degrees field-of-view, and a 2MP sensor with 4cm focal length for macro shots. Upfront, a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture is placed under the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.
The mobile phone packs a 4,500mAh battery 44W FlashCharge fast charging support. It ships with stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. It weighs 198.3 grams.

iQoo Neo 5 Lite is offered in two color schemes- Polar Night Black and Ice Peak White. It costs CNY 2,299 (Rs. 26,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, CNY 2,499 (Rs. 28,300) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, and CNY 2,699 (Rs. 30,600) for the top-of-the-line 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. It is currently up for pre-orders in China. Details regarding the international availability and pricing of the device is yet to be revealed by iQoo.

Considering the price range, it will rival Motorola Edge S Pioneer Edition, which is powered by Snapdragon 870G 5G and features a 90Hz IPS panel, a 64MP quad-camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging, priced at CNY 1,999 (Rs. 22,600) for the 8GB RAM variant in China.
