Microsoft has recently announced the availability of thinnest and most connected 2-in-1 device Surface Pro X in India. The device has been officially launched in India. The Surface Pro X 16GB/256GB LTE in platinum and black has been priced at Rs.1,49,999 and the Surface Pro X 16GB/512GB LTE in platinum and black has been priced at Rs.1,78,999.
Microsoft said that the new updates to Surface Pro X provides a new configuration which also includes the next-generation custom processor of Microsoft and a Platinum finish with new app experiences that results in long battery life and increased performance in all Surface Pro X devices.
Rajiv Sodhi, the Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft India said that they will now introduce new updates in Surface Pro X that includes new app experiences, increased performance and a platinum finish and delivers a new experience to users who need to be connected, productive and creative.
The top-end Surface Pro X SKUs have been refreshed by Microsoft by adding Microsoft SQ 2 processor which is a fast processor in its class. Surface Pro X has web-first experiences like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, Netflix, Spotify and others and also supports many existing Windows apps like Google Chrome, Firefox and WhatsApp.
Microsoft said they would introduce three new colours for the signature keyboard which includes platinum, ice blue and pappy red with the same built-in storage and wireless charging for Surface Slim Pen.
In addition to all these, Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Teams have been made faster while using less battery with new versions optimized for Windows on ARM and plans to expand the support for running x64 apps. Visual Studio Code has been updated and optimized for Windows on ARM for developers.
Microsoft said that the results of improved performance and long battery life is the Surface Pro X getting around 15 hours of battery life in both configurations.
