Moto has launched two smartphones under the G series- Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion in India. Both the smartphones are powered by a Snapdragon 732G SoC and carry a massive 6,000mAh battery. Moto G60 features a 108MP primary sensor, while the younger sibling comes with a 64MP primary camera.

Moto G60 Specifications

Moto G60 draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 1TB. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with typical Moto’s My UX clean UI on top.

Coming to the display, the device sports a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with support for HDR10 and carries a center-aligned punch hole for the front camera. It has thin bezels on the edges and a slightly thicker bezel on the chin.

As for the cameras, the phone boasts a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 108MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP sensor for ultra-wide shots with f/2.2 aperture, and 118-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The rear cameras are vertically aligned in a rectangular module that also includes the LED flash. At the front, a 32MP sensor is placed under the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.

The mobile phone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with Turbo Power 20W fast-charging. It ships with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

Moto G60 Price

Moto G60 is offered in two color options- Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne. It is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The smartphone will be sold via Flipkart from April 27.

Alternative

Considering the price range, it will compete with Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, which is powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC, a 48MP quad-camera setup, 5,160mAh battery, and 120Hz IPS LCD panel, priced at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

Moto G40 Fusion Specifications

Moto G40 Fusion shares most of the specifications with the elder sibling Moto G60. Moto G40 Fusion is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G octa-core SoC, 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 6,000mAh battery with Turbo Power 20W fast charging support, and same connectivity options.

However, Moto G40 Fusion varies from Moto G60 in the camera department. The smartphone comes with a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture for ultra-wide-angle shots with 118-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing. Upfront, it features a 16MP selfie snapper under the punch hole.

Moto G40 Fusion Price

Moto G40 Fusion will be available in two color options- Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne. It is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It will be up for grabs from May 1 and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.

Considering the price range, it will rival Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, which draws power from a Snapdragon 732G SoC, features a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, a 64MP quad-camera setup, and a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast-charging, starting from Rs. 15,999.
