Samsung’s Exynos 1000 has reportedly beaten Snapdragon 875 on the Geekbench scores.

Samsung has been working on Exynos 1000 for some time. And it is just a matter of 6-7 more months till we see the powerhouse which Samsung has created.

According to a Korean forum, Geekbench scores show that Exynos 1000 has surpassed the limits of Snapdragon 875. The tests were made on sample Galaxy S21 units. One had an Exynos 1000 and the other had Snapdragon 875 in it.

According to the reports, n the single-core test, the Exynos 1000 got 1302 points and 4250 in multi whereas the Snapdragon 875 got 1159 and 4090, respectively. Both the chips will have ARM’s newly announced Cortex-X1.

All the testings are still very premature and results could vary as things get stable. Both the Snapdragon and Exynos are built on the 5nm technology and will have quite similar architecture. It will just be the minute details which will give a chip an edge over other. For now, it is Samsung’s Exynos who is in the lead.
