Vivo v15 Pro

Vivo V15 Pro is expected to release in India on February 20 and ahead of its launch, the smartphone’s images have been shared online by a Malaysian tech website. Vivo V15 Pro has a 32-megapixel front camera that is incorporated in the pop-up slider mechanism of the phone. The phone will be exclusively available through Flipkart and the e-commerce website has already started listing the smartphone on its front page.

According to the photos shared by soyacincau, who shared the photos of the device in Topaz Blue color, the device comes with a typical reflective back. According to reports, the phone also sports a triple camera module at the back panel that is aligned vertically. Vivo’s own teasers for the phone have confirmed the same. The camera bump at the back is aligned with the pop-up selfie camera, according to the report.

The alleged renders of the device were shared by the prominent tipster Ishan Agarwal as well. The photos shared by the tipster show the smartphone with an edge-to-edge screen, nevertheless, Ishan Agarwal said that Vivo alters its renders considerably and the device can be expected to have bezels on its sides.

The report also adds that the device comes with a micro-USB port instead of the USB type-C, which has become a norm for smartphones in 2019. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top and the company itself has confirmed that the device will be coming in with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The last phone from Vivo to sport a pop-up selfie camera was the Vivo Nex, which had an 8-megapixel front camera. The triple camera module at the back of the device compromise of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, and a ToF 3D sensor at the back as well, though this has not been confirmed by the company.

The Vivo V15 Pro also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which has been confirmed on the Flipkart landing page.

Apart from the 32-megapixel selfie camera feature, Vivo has not revealed many details about the phone, Nevertheless, recent reports claim that the sensor on the camera module might be the recently launched Samsung GD1 32-megapixel image sensor. This sensor from Samsung is small and power efficient with support for HDR and electronic image stabilization.

In a recent interview with IANS, a Vivo executive said that the upcoming Vivo 15 Pro will be priced between ₹20,000-₹30,000 in India

In terms of specifications, the device is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone will have a 6.39-inch full HD+ display and will be fueled by a 3700mAh battery.
