Vivo launched its flagship Vivo X60 series in India a few weeks ago. Vivo X60 and X60 Pro were launched in China in December 2020, while the top-end X60 Pro+ was launched in January 2021. Vivo also launched Vivo X60t in China few days back. Now, it seems that Vivo is already working on the successor Vivo X70 series. A tipster has shared certain specifications of the rumored Vivo X70 series.

A tipster, who goes by the name Bald Panda, took to his Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging platform, to share the specifications of a Vivo smartphone that he says belongs to the Vivo X70 series.

The tipster shared that the top-end Vivo X70 Pro+ will be powered by Snapdragon 888 5G chipset with Adreno 660 GPU. As for the cameras, Vivo X70 Pro+ could feature a primary camera sensor larger than 1/1.2-inch and the company could partner with Zeiss optics.

The smartphone could feature a Samsung E4 AMOLED display on the front. As per the leaks, the mobile phone will carry a 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support.

The tipster claims that the X70 series will debut in China in June and later in the global markets. However, these are leaks and should be taken with a pinch of salt. We have to wait for the official statement from Vivo to clarify the specifications of the smartphone series.

Vivo X60 Pro+

The rumored Vivo X70 Pro+ will be the successor to Vivo X60 Pro+. The X60 Pro+ model is powered by Snapdragon 888 with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device boasts a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

As for the cameras, the smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor with OIS(Optical Image Stabilization), a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor with Gimbal stabilization, a 32MP portrait lens, and an 8MP telescopic lens. The smartphone packs a 4,200mAh battery with 55W fast charging. The top-end Vivo X60 Pro+ starts from Rs. 69,990 in India.

Oppo and Vivo are known for releasing two flagships in a year. Hence, Vivo is expected to come up with another flagship smartphone series this year, which could be the Vivo X70 series.
