With around 2 billion smartphone users all around the world, there is intense competition in the smartphone market. We witness new technologies and attachments hitting the market every day. And the latest technology we know of is Xiaomi’s announcement of a new gaming controller for the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 smartphones which will be unveiled at China’s largest gaming and digital entertainment exhibition, China Joy Expo.
Xiaomi’s official Weibo account has shared a teaser poster hinting the announce of a new gaming product, a gamepad. The gamepad is quite similar to the one that was launched along with the first Xiaomi Black Shark gaming smartphone.
The controller is very simple to attach and use and offers a totally different and improved gaming experience. When held at landscape mode, the controller can be attached along the left side of the device thereby, giving a comfortable hold. It features a joystick, some configurable buttons, LT and LB gaming shoulder buttons, a function button that also acts as a Bluetooth indicator, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 340mAh battery.
