Xiaomi seems to be prepping yet another flagship phone with Snapdragon 855 chipset and pack triple rear camera support. Early information that has appeared through its source code says that it is codenamed ‘Hercules’ on the sidelines. While the exact identity of the phone is under the wraps, it is being speculated that it could be the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 4.
Furthermore, the Hercules will reportedly pack an in-display fingerprint sensor that will most probably be having an optical sensor. The handset is also expected to pack a triple rear camera setup and a single front-facing selfie snapper. The smartphone is also reported to pack wireless charging support, meaning it will be boasting a glass back, in-line with most flagships these days. Some of these specs will be matching with the Mi 9 flagship that was announced earlier this year. It needs to be seen if Xiaomi takes design cues from its predecessors for the upcoming MIX flagship or pull off a brand new look. Although rumours claim it might be the Mi MIX 4, it is possible the handset could be an entirely new phone.

However, this feature is expected to be arriving on more than one Snapdragon 855-powered phone from Xiaomi. But, as of now, there is no concrete information whether the Xiaomi ‘Hercules’ will make its debut as the Mi Mix 3s or the Mi Mix 4, but going by the previous launch trend of phones in the Mix series, we are inclined into believing that the upcoming phone will make its debut as the Mi Mix 3S. But since this is an early leak, process this information with a fair amount of skepticism.
