Marvel, the company behind the fascinating and one of the highest-grossing movie series ever, Avengers has been working on consolidating its roots in the gaming industry. Marvel’s Avengers Game has been in the news for quite some time now as the company is busy showing us glimpses of gameplay of the superheroes featured in the game including Hulk, Thor, Natasha Romanoff, Iron Man, and Captain America. Then recently, Marvel made another major breakthrough in the gaming industry with the announcement of Avengers: Damage Control, a location-based VR experience. We also know now that Kamala Khan is the sixth-playable character and the most important one too. And now, Crystal Dynamics has made it clear that Captain Marvel exists in Marvel’s Avengers.
We already know Kamala Khan to be a Captain Marvel fan. Crystal Dynamics’ Head of Studio Scot Amos said in a recent interview, “She still knows everything there is to know about the Avengers and yes, Captain Marvel is still her favorite. That is something she and our players have in common. They love these heroes.” Amos further quoted, “We’ll put it to you this way, Kamala can’t be a fan of someone who didn’t exist.” And with this, Amos has given us fans enough hint to conclude that Captain Marvel indeed exists in the game.
