With the advent of Cloud Gaming, there seems to be a new war in the gaming industry. All the big players like MicrosoftGoogleAMDNvidiaSony are coming up with new gaming tech announcements every day. The day isn’t far when we will be witnessing Cloud Gaming in the professional gaming platform too. As for now, the latest news comes from NVIDIA as the company is planning to bring ray tracing to more classic PC titles.

Nvidia is one of the big names in the gaming industry and consistently works on making improvements to its existing offering. Recently, the company updated its GeForce NOW cloud-gaming service desktop experience. And now, in a recent job listing spotted by DSOGaming, Nvidia Lightspeed Studios is planning to remaster a few of the very famous PC titles.

“We’re cherry-picking some of the greatest titles from the past decades and bringing them into the ray tracing age, giving them state-of-the-art visuals while keeping the gameplay that made them great,” read Nvidia’s job description.

Nvidia Lightspeed Studios is the brain behind Quake 2 RTX. Moreover, it has been heavily involved in porting PC games such as Half-Life 2, Doom 3, and Portal to the Nvidia Shield Android device. As of now, no furth details about NVIDIA’s new Ray Tracing remastering program are available but we will keep you posted on all the latest happening regarding the same.
