Apple has now released the third beta version of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13  for developers alongside new seeds of watchOS 6, tvOS 13, and macOS Catalina. Apple will release public beta builds at a later date after the new developer beta has been fully tested for some time.

Apple unveiled iOS 13 for the first time at WWDC in early June. Newly added features and improvements include:

  • a system-wide dark mode,
  • improved Mail app,
  • battery health optimizations,
  • and a feature to block spam calls from reaching your iPhone.

A new OS dedicated to Apple’s iPad line, iPadOS, was also announced. The new OS brings in new multitasking tools and a desktop-class browser to the tablet. MacOS Catalina incorporates Project Catalyst, thereby giving developers the ability to port apps build for the iPad over to the Mac.

This release mainly focuses on fixing bugs and other performance related issues. There’s also a chance that Apple might have brought in some cosmetic changes here and there in order to add some finishing touch to what is already in the OS.

According to 9to5Mac, “iOS 13 beta 3 includes a new popup screen for the Screen Recordings feature, a teaser image for the upcoming Apple Arcade subscription service, a new animation for Split View on iPad to let you know where you are typing, and a FaceTime Attention Correction feature for iPhone XS and XS Max.”

The beta testing period will allow Apple to work out on bugs before releasing  iOS 13 and iPadOS t the general public. It will allow developers build iOS 13 and iPadOS to feature into their apps ahead of a public release coming this fall.
