Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that Maharashtra will see the next Chief Minister from Shiv Sena only.

As quoted by ANI, he said, “The Chief Minister will be from Shiv Sena only. The face and politics of Maharashtra are changing, you will see. What you call ‘Hungama’ (commotion), is not ‘Hungama’. It is a fight for justice and rights and the victory will be ours“.

Reposing his full faith in the party leader Uddhav Thackeray, Sanjay Raut said that Uddhavji will only decide the government formation. On being asked further about the alliance of party with either Congress or NCP, he said that politics is all filled with rumors.

Previously, Sanjay Raut had met BS Koshyari (Maharashtra Governor) on Monday where he iterated his party’s stand and told the governor that Shiv Sena is not the reason for the delay in government formation.

Over the past few days, Sanjay Raut has become very vocal in voicing the stand of his party, sometimes leading to the speculation of alternate-government formation. Earlier, the Shiv Sena leader had also reached NCP leader Ajit Pawar which gave rise to the possibility of NCP-Shiv Sena coalition.

Bhartiya Janta Party and Shiv Sena have been involved in a tussle since the election results came out. The post of Chief Minister is the main hurdle that both the parties are unable to sort out.

With each passing day, new political developments and interesting twists to the story have been unfolding. Earlier, BJP minister Sudhir Mungantiwar issued a warning that the president’s rule may be imposed if a new state government is not in place by November 7.

Replying to this, Sanjay Raut had said that his party will be dropping its “wait and watch mode” in the government formation.
