The Winter Session of Parliament on Thursday will begin at 11 AM. The Upper House of Parliament, Rajya Sabha will discuss Surrogacy(Amendment) Bill 2019 for its third consecutive day. The Bill aims at regulating surrogacy for the first time by prohibiting commercial surrogacy while, allowing ‘altruistic surrogacy’.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Tuesday introduced the bill by calling it a “Game Changer.” The bill was deferred by the Opposition MPs for its provisions.
The Upper and Lower House of Parliament – Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha will talk about the Rising level of Pollution. “The National Capital’s air quality entered ‘very poor’ category on Wednesday and is likely to turn severe over the next two days due to prevailing calm winds and increased incidents of farm fires,” said officials.
The meeting will be attended by BJP MP, Gautam Gambhir who’s missing posters were circulated in New Delhi when he skipped the Parliamentary meeting. He has bashed the Delhi’s Government’s Odd and Even Scheme.
Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill, 2019 will also be taken in the House. The Bill aims to protect rights and welfare and other related rights to transgender persons and prohibits discrimination against them anyway.
On the other hand, Congress has demanded the central government to disclose all the details about The Electoral Bonds in the winter session of Parliament.
