Aam Aadmi Party National Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at Congress for not forging an alliance with his party (AAP) in Delhi to take on Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls. He further claimed there are rumours that BJP and Congress have joined hands and have ‘secret understanding’ in Delhi.
Kejriwal further training guns towards Congress said that the Congress wants BJP to win in Delhi and however he (Arvind Kejriwal) will defeat the ‘Unholy Alliance’ of BJP-Congress in Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter hours after DPCC Chief Sheila Dixit formally declined AAP’s offer to forge an alliance. Kejriwal in a tweet said, ‘At a time when the whole country wants to defeat Modi– Shah duo, Congress is helping BJP by splitting the anti-BJP vote. Rumours r (are) that Cong (Congress) has some secret understanding with BJP.”
He added “Delhi is ready to fight against Cong-BJP alliance. People will defeat this unholy alliance”. He made the tweet while quoting a report that said that Sheila Dixit declines to go with AAP in Delhi.

Kejriwal reaction came hours after Shiela Dixit ending months-long speculations said her party is not going with the AAP. Briefing the media after the meeting the Congress party’s Delhi leadership, former Delhi CM Sheila Dixit made the announcement. Sheila Dixit said ‘A unanimous decision has been taken that there will be no alliance in Delhi’.
Gopal Rai hours after the Congress ‘Unanimous’ Decision also blamed Congress working to help BJP. AAP Leader said, ‘Congress’ final announcement (to contest alone in Delhi) shows that it is hell-bent on helping BJP, it seems for them the party is bigger than the country. Could it be that Congress has made an unofficial alliance with the BJP?’
