Launching a fresh set of the attack on the Congress, PM Modi on Wednesday said that Congress has yet not able to accept its defeat in the national polls. Replying to the ‘Motion Of Thanks on the President’s Address’ in the Rajya Sabha, PM Modi said, ‘My friends in the Congress have not been able to digest victory, they have not been able to accept defeat. This is not a healthy sign in a democracy’.

PM Modi in his speech touched down multiple issues including the issue of EVMs, Jharkhand Lynching, NRC, deaths in Bihar due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome and Water Crisis in some part of the country.
Slamming the opposition, particularly the Congress, PM Modi said they have failed so they are looking for reasons and giving excuses of EVMs and others.
Further slamming the opposition over the EVM Issue, PM Modi, as quoted by ANI, said that Election Commission had invited all parties on the EVM Issue but just two parties accepted- CPI and NCP. I appreciate both the parties for going to the Election Commission to learn more about the issue’.
‘But, why did the rest of the parties questioning the EVMs not even bother to go, they should answer’, PM Modi said amid his MPs supporting his argument.
