On Saturday, Mehbooba Mufti, the chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir was all in praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that only he could save Kashmir from the ongoing chaos.
Speaking to the reporters in Sri Nagar today, Mehbooba Mufti said if anyone can help solve the Kashmir problem, it’s Narendra Modi. She further added that the government of Jammu and Kashmir, along with the people are with PM and whatever decision he takes, the government will support him.
While the interaction, J&K chief minister also praised the strength of Narendra Modi. While pointing at his Pakistan visit last year, she said only Modi could think of something of that sort, provided the relations between two countries were not the best at that time.
Kashmir valley has been in news once again since April 15, when army personnels had entered a college to search for possible hidden terrorists. Over the last few days, students in large numbers have joined the stone pelting protestors and the situation isn’t looking well at the moment.
Over the last few days, increased militant activities in South Kashmir region have possessed a serious threat to the government and armed forces. Though the government has assured of strict action and free hand to armed forces, the situations continues to worsen.
