The Rajasthan State Election Office has rejected more than 600 nominations forms on Tuesday, November 20 after scrutiny, out of 4,288 received till the last minutes of the process. The filing of the election nomination was started in the state on November 12 which came to a halt on November 19. The Candidate can take a withdrawal of their forms till November 22.

A total of 3,295 candidates had filed 4,288 forms for 200 assembly seats and 613 forms have been rejected after the scrutiny, said the press released from the office of the chief electoral officer of the state.

Assembly Polls in the state with 200 seats is scheduled for December 7 along with Telangana State Elections, while the counting will take place on December 11 with other four state assembly elections.

BJP has nominated its candidates for all 200 seats while Congress has fielded 195, leaving five seats for its alliance. Mundawar seat and Kushalgarh (ST) seat have been left for the Sharad Yadav led Loktantrik Janata party, Bharatpur and Malpura(Tonk) for Rashtriya Lok Dal and NCP has fielded its candidate in Bali seat of Pali District.
