A lot of people still wondering that how can a 16 year old kid get opportunity to play for a IPL team like Royal challengers Bangalore. Even though he conceded 54 runs in his first appearance but still its a huge thing for a youngster to share a dressing room with the likes of ABD and Virat Kohli.

Prayas Ray Burman, a 16 year old kid got the attention of every Indian, when this man makes his IPL debut at this early age. He is the youngest cricketer in the history of IPL to make debut. Before him, it was the Afghanistan cricketer Mujeeb Ur Rehman who was the youngest cricket (17y 011d)  to make IPL debut.

Burman who studies commerce from Kalyani public school in Kolkata, Also appeared for his board economics examination just a day before the match. It’s a huge thing to manage two things simultaneously for such a young man.

He played for Bengal cricket team and in his debut match in Vijay Hazare trophy he had the tremendous figure of 20 for 4 wickets in just 5 overs against Jammu and Kashmir to fashion a six-wicket win. He ended up picking 11 wickets with an average of 23 and an economy 4.45 in the tournament.

It’s very rare that a player played Vijay Hazare trophy before Ranji and Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. But the sad part is that he won’t be able to feature in the upcoming  fixture of RCB which is on 2nd April as he is busy in studies but team management said that he return to the squad before 6th April.
