Sri Lanka won the T-20I series against Bangladesh, following which the ODI series journey began.

It is on the tour of Bangladesh, which includes three T-20I and ODI matches.

It also includes two test matches.

They started the tour with a win as they won the first T-20I match.

After that, Bangladesh made a comeback as they won the second match.

It was the last match, as whoever wins will also win the T-20I series.

Sri Lanka, performing outstandingly, won the last T-20I as they won the T-20I series.

After that, it was time for the ODI series, as Bangladesh won the first match.

Match Details

The second ODI match was played on March 15 in Chattanooga.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.

Bangladesh Innings

Litton Das and Soumya Sarkar opened the innings for Bangladesh.

Dilshan Madushanka didn’t let them settle as he took the wicket of Littion in the first over.

Najmul Hossain Shanto came in to bat as he and Soumya handled the situation.

Soumya soon completed his half-century as they both were taking forward the Innings.

Dilshan broke their partnership as he took the wicket of Najmul.

Towhid Hridoy came in to bat as he was playing a great knock.

Wickets were falling from the other end as Towhid kept his calm and, therefore, kept on adding runs.

With his outstanding knock of 96 runs, the Bangladesh team made a total of 286/7.

Wanindu Hasaranga took four wickets, while Dilshan Madushanka took two wickets.

Sri Lanka Innings

Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando opened the innings for them.

I’m the first over, Shoriful Islam took the wicket of Avishka.

Soon, two more wickets fell for the Sri Lanka team as they were in trouble.

Charith Asalanka came into bat, and he and Pathum started to handle the situation.

They both completed their half-centuries, just as Pathum also completed his century.

With both of their knocks of 114 runs by Pathum and 91 by Charith, Sri Lanka came close to victory.

In the end, the batters snatched the victory from the lion’s den and won the match by three wickets.

Sri Lanka triumphs over Bangladesh by 3 wickets, leveling the series 1-1!
