WhatsApp in it’s upcoming update is expected to launch two new features, which is going to make texting more convenient.

The internet messaging app is rumored to be testing an ‘Unsend’ button, which would allow users to edit and revoke already sent text messages.

According to a report by @WABetaInfo, the firm is testing the feature in a new beta release of WhatsApp Web version 0.2.4077, which will allow users to ‘Unsend’ sent messages within a five-minute time frame.

In addition to that, WhatsApp is also said to be testing new shortcuts for formatting text on a beta version of the app on Android. In the beta version, the app displays a full range of formatting options-Bold, Italic, strike through, when a part of text is selected.

At present, all the formatting of a text can only be obtained through selective commands.  To make bold, user needs to put text in between two asterisks (*), like *this*. To italicize underscore ( _ ) is used, like _this_ and to strike-through a message, tildes (~) are used, like ~this~.

Since, both the features are under test, we are expected to see them anytime soon in the next update of the app.

Let us know in the comment section what do you think about the new features of Whatsapp.
