The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited online applications for its postgraduate scholarship scheme.

GATE, GPAT, and CEED qualified students admitted to AICTE approved regular postgraduate programs can apply for the scholarship.

Selected candidates will receive Rs 2,400 per month for 24 months or for the duration of the course. The last date to apply for the scholarship is December 31, 2021.

AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22: Eligibility Criteria

They must have a valid GATE, GPAT, or CEED score at the time of admission.

They must be admitted as full-time scholars.

Students must be admitted to AICTE approved institutions and programs: Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Master of Pharmacy, and Master of Design.

The key objective of the scholarship is to ensure the development of technical education in India. The selection will be made on the basis of the GATE/GPAT scorecard.

To be eligibility criteria for the applicants includes-

  • Have obtained a valid score in GATE/GPAT examination.
  • Have taken admission in the 1st year of M.Tech./M.E./M.Pharm/M.Arch. courses at an AICTE recognized institution

AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22: Documents required

The documents required for the scholarship program includes-

  • GATE/GPAT scorecard (Scanned)
  • Bank passbook (Scanned)
  • Scanned copy of Aadhaar card (Students from J&K, Meghalaya, and Assam are exempted) 
  • Scanned copy of caste certificate
  • Scanned copy of the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate, not more than a year old (only for OBC candidates).

AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22: Application Procedure

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through the following steps –

  • Get the institute ID and student ID from the institute.
  • Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below and provide the necessary details to validate your student ID. 
  • Fill in the application form for PG Scholarship GATE/GPAT. 
  • Upload the required documents to the portal in PDF format only. 
  • Click on “Submit Application” after completing all the steps.
